Maryland Heights Police Trunk or Treat
The Maryland Heights Police Department will be hosting their 2nd annual Trunk or Treat that benefits the Special Olympics Missouri from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Set up for trunk decorating is 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
The cost to enter the event is $10 per vehicle at the gate. That cost is to decorate your vehicle and pass out candy or to Trunk and Treat. There will be a vehicle decorating contest, pumpkin painting (included in the $10 entry), 50/50 raffle, candy, food trucks, petting zoo, police cars, equipment from the fire department, Car 911, and LOTS OF FUN HAD BY ALL!

Kayak with a Vet
The St. Louis Elks Lodge #9 is hosting a one-day Community Awareness Event in support of our Veterans with Team River Runner (TRR) to focus on veteran’s health issues. This event will help build awareness of important veteran’s resources and the TRR “Adaptive Rowing Program” in conjunction with Jefferson Barracks VA St. Louis Healthcare System, providing highly effective rehabilitation opportunities. Representatives from other organizations will also be present to highlight veteran’s services related to mental and physical health, job training/placement, homelessness prevention and more.
This FREE, family-friendly event is open to the public and will include: · Kayaks and Kayaking lessons (highlighting safety practices) provided on location by experienced vets, The Alpine Shop, TRR, St. Louis Canoe & Kayak and Missouri Whitewater Rafting.
Hot dogs, chips and soft drinks provided by St. Louis Elks #9.
