Companion Bakery Raises Dough For Chefs Cycle

Josh Allen and Kevin Nashan have teamed up in this year’s “Chefs Cycle” ride May 16-18 in Santa Rosa, CA. Companion will host a fundraising event on April 24, 2017 to help Peacemaker’s Chef-Owner, Kevin Nashan, and Josh Allen, Founder-Owner of Companion Baking, raise money for “Chefs Cycle” benefiting charity, “NO KID HUNGRY”. Every two weeks, PEACEMAKER will feature a different Po'Boy sandwich created by one of five favorite St.Louis chefs. On Monday, April 24, 2017 from 6pm-8:30pm, Josh Allen and Kevin Nashan invite the public to the West STL Companion Cafe to sample the five exclusive Po’Boy sandwiches all in one night! In addition, there will be a complimentary RAW bar, craft beers, wine and a silent auction to help raise additional funds. Tickets are $75/per person and available online at www.companionbaking.com. A portion of sales from each Po’Boy sandwich sold at Peacemaker will also go
towards “Chefs Cycle”.

Details

Event Access
Walk-ins only. Check-in starts at 8:30. There is a separate fee for Cosmic Climbing and is not included in your regular day pass or membership. If you were climbing before close and would like to stay for Cosmic Climb, you will be asked to leave the building while we prepare the facility. Wacky Walls will be accessible on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Waiver & Orientation
All participants, including those supervising children, must have a current orientation & liability waiver on file with our facility. Climbers under the age of 18 must have a waiver completed by their parent or legal guardian. Click here to complete the waiver online. The 10-15 minute orientation is given at time of visit.

Age Restrictions
Participants must be 14 or older to be dropped off for this event. Those under 14 must have adult supervision while they are participating. Adults do not have to pay if they are not climbing, but must supervise their children in the climbing area.

Headlamps and Apparel
Although not required, it is highly recommended that each participant have a headlamp for this event. Bright, neon clothing is encouraged.

Mud Bug Madness
Y'all come go Cajun in the County at Mud Bug Madness on Saturday, May 13th at O'Fallon Brewery! 

Join us for one of two session and go crazy on all you can eat Crawfish, Corn, Taters, plus Red Beans & Rice! The Ragin' Cajun himself is hauling these Mud Bugs all the way from Louisiana to give you an authentic Nawlins-style Crawfish Boil, right here in St Louis County! 

$35 gets you all the Crawfish and fixins you can eat. Buy your drink tickets in advance for special Mud Bug Madness discounts on beer. ($3 in advance, $4 day of, cash preferred.) Event tickets are limited for each 2-hour session, so order yours now!

**Crawfish Eating Contest**
Let's see how fast you can eat 3 pounds of Crawfish! The first 5 people to sign up, per session, will compete (free of charge) for a special prize! No... it's not more crawfish. But we promise it's good. 

Session 1 - 11:30-2, food starts at noon, all you can eat!
Session 2 - 3-5:30, food starts at 3:30, all you can eat!

Tickets are will call only. Just bring your appetite and ID and we'll supply the crawfish.
